This collection contains 23 issues of the Accreditation Criteria, the agency's standards and institutional requirements, primarily spanning the period 1967 through 2001. To help institutions and peer evaluators meet their responsibilities in conducting the self-regulating process, the Commission developed and periodically has revised a set of policies, procedures, and standards governing the activity. Collectively, they comprise overall criteria which, when complied by institutions, result in the peer-awarded status of accreditation.
