Morse (Dem.-0regon). Senator Morse is Chairman of the important Senate Subcommittee on Education which is now considering final recommendations on the National Student Loan Act (H. R. 7743) which has already passed the House by a vote of 300 to 0, Enclosed is a convention registration form which allows you a discount of $5 if you register by OCTOBER 15. COLLEGE TRANSFER PROGRAMS FOR BUSINESS SCHOOL STUDENTS A bachelor degree transfer program for business school students has been developed at Ferris State College, Big Rapids, Michigan. This is the first REGIONALLY ACCREDITED institution to recognize that some business school graduates should go on to a four-year degree by transferring their credits earned in a business school towards the bachelors degree. Be there Saturday morning, October 30, to hear Dr. Robert L. Hitch of Ferris State College explain the philosophy and operation of this landmark develop-ment. Dr. Hitch will also have factual statistics resulting from a research study from the s uccess of business school graduates who have transferred to Ferris State for their degree. BOARD APPOINTS JAY JOHNSON TO THE ACCREDITING COMMISSI ON In keeping with the recently revised UBSA By-Laws on early selection of ACBS Commissioners, the UBSA Board has appointed Jay R. Johnson, President of Parks School of Business, Denver, Colorado, to serve on the Accrediting Commission as the Board appointed Commissioner pursuant to the UBSA By-Laws. Senator Morse
